Spring Break!

Ahhhh, Spring Break is upon us, so that means crowded streets and rising water temperatures, which is fantastic for fishing......the rising water temps are climbing to the magical 80 degree mark which will start the spring migration of our fabled tarpon. A few early pods have shown up in the 10,000 Islands, but they have quickly scattered with the turbid water clarity and should start roaming freely again with the recent change is wind direction. Give it a few days and they should be out and about with frequency. This also means the bait (Pilchards) will start showing up with regularity as well, along with charging up the snook and sharks. In addition the Spanish Mackeral are invading the nearshore wrecks and reefs as they chase the bait pods each spring. This can be fast and furious fishing with the bonus cobia wandering in, a plethora of sharks and even a bonus tarpon. The next 2 months are arguably my favorite time to fish, so book now and enjoy the excitement!
