Your charter starts long before you start fishing as Captain Steve prepares for your trip with great diligence and attention to detail. Your first step is to make a reservation and it can simply be made by contacting Captain Steve via phone at 239-405-9898 or by clicking on the “Contact Us” page within this website. During this conversation, we will discuss what you would ideally like to accomplish on your charter. Facts that will be covered:
Rates include up to 3 anglers as they can easily fish comfortably all day long without any chance of feeling crowded by their fellow boat mates for the day. Additional boats and captains are available for larger groups. Charter includes fishing license for each person on board, bait, tackle, ice and bottled water. While Captain Steve will do everything possible to ensure you have the most pleasurable day on the water, if you have any special requests, please feel free to communicate those to him prior to your trip.
Payments can be made via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Cash and we no longer except personal or business checks. Please review the cancellation policy at the bottom of the page. If you care to pay in full or pay your deposit by credit card, Captain Steve will coordinate a secure payment with you and whether on the boat or via phone, your receipt can be emailed or texted to you in a matter of seconds.
Answers to FAQs:
We take a $100 deposit for all trips booked, unless Captain Steve has approved you for other payment methods. Your deposit is 100% refundable if your trip is cancelled due to inclement weather or mechanical failure, with which the latter has never happened. If cancellation occurs less than 72 hours before the trip your deposit will not be refunded, however Captain Steve will apply your deposit to a rescheduled trip and Captain Steve will make every effort to get you out on the water ASAP. If you simply do not show up for a trip, you are just simply an inconsiderate person and probably wouldn’t get along with Captain Steve anyway! You will never be left standing at the dock wondering where your Captain is.
