During this conversation, we will discuss what you would ideally like to accomplish on your charter. Facts that will be covered:

  • Who will you be fishing with you on your trip?
  • Are you looking to entertain a client or guest?
  • Do you have a large group that will require additional boats?
  • Would you like to stop during the day at a local eatery on the water for a meal?
  • What is your party’s angling style and experience?
  • What time and where will we meet and what to bring?
  • What is the current fishing forecast and expectations for the date(s) you desire to fish?

Feel free to ask any question, as you will find out, Captain Steve will ensure that every aspect in preparing for your trip is handled with care and professionalism.

Answers to FAQs:

  • What should you bring? You should bring polarized fishing glasses, sunscreen, non skid shoes, camera, hat, rain gear/clothing to fit the weather and food/snacks/beverages of your choice.

  • Can you smoke and/or drink on board? You are allowed to smoke on board with care and beer is permitted. No glass bottles, just plastic and cans. We do not allow hard liquor or any illegal substances on board.

  • Where will you meet Captain Steve? Our meeting point will depend on which one of the fisheries we will fish that day. If we are fishing the 10,000 Islands region, we will meet dockside at Goodland Boat Park, located at 740 Palm Point Drive, Goodland, Florida 34140 and if we are fishing the Estero Bay region, we will meet dockside at the Lover's Key State Park Boat Ramp, located at 8700 Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach, Florida 33931. In addition, you will be emailed directions as your trip nears and you will speak to Captain Steve 24-48 hours leading up to your trip.

  • Will you need a fishing license? You do not! Captain Steve covers the fishing license for everyone in your party.
  • Do you need to bring any fishing equipment? We supply the very best in current model Phenix rods and Daiwa reels, the freshest live bait and the most effective tackle. If you have a preference to use your own rods and reels, feel free to let Captain Steve know you would like to bring them aboard.

Cancellation Policy:

We take a $100 deposit for all trips booked, unless Captain Steve has approved you for other payment methods. Your deposit is 100% refundable if your trip is cancelled due to inclement weather or mechanical failure, with which the latter has never happened. If cancellation occurs less than 72 hours before the trip your deposit will not be refunded, however Captain Steve will apply your deposit to a rescheduled trip and Captain Steve will make every effort to get you out on the water ASAP. If you simply do not show up for a trip, you are just simply an inconsiderate person and probably wouldn’t get along with Captain Steve anyway! You will never be left standing at the dock wondering where your Captain is.
