Marco Island & Estero Bay Fishing Report 11-01-15

Fishing action continues to rise as the fall weather drops our water temperatures. With daylight savings time kicking in this past Sunday, the mornings are bit cooler this week. Look for low tides in the late morning the early part of this week giving way to good incoming tides late into the week and over the weekend. Redfish and snook remain active with a plethora of usable sized pilchards invading the area beaches and hard bottom areas. One throw of the net and you should be blacked out. If the winds subside, get offshore and do some fun fishing with some upper 20" sized Spanish Mackeral and some bonus Bonita mixed into the fray. Casters can sight fish these around what seems like endless bait pods just a few miles from most SW Florida passes and ports. Feeling a little lazy? Throw a few rods in the rod holders and idle around and you are sure to hook up at some point. Until next time, tight lines and screaming drags!
