Estero Bay….

April 16, 2011 - Posted by Steve Dall Whew, what a whirlwind last few weeks....charters were really action packed with the spring breakers throughout March and what a great month we had....we had 22 charters in March and boated nearly 400 fish, primarily redfish and snook! The water temps jumped significantly in the last 2 weeks, are hovering in the 83 degree range at mid-day and we are in a full early summer patter right now....we literally have skipped spring this year. Bait has been plentiful and the fish have been best at the highest tides, particularly around the mangroves. The tarpon are starting to show up with a few rollers here and there at the lower light levels and at the right tides and they should be in full swing by the second week of May, if not earlier.
