A Great May!

June 1, 2011 - Posted by Steve Dall May is coming to a close and wow, the fishing was fantastic here in Naples, Florida. We had 15 trips this month out on the Gulf of Mexico and Estero Bay, with over 200 total fish caught. The evening snook bite was outstanding as usual, we targeted reds throughout the month on the high tides and started shark fishing the last weekend of the month getting 14 sharks in 2 days. Tarpon will be showing up any day on our beaches, so we will turn the focus to them very soon and continue on with the other species as conditions warrant. I will be taking a break from the salt next week to make the 14 hour drive to Florence, Alabama for the last bass tournament in the FLW Everstart Southeastern Division. Hopefully I can cash a nice check in this tournament to offset all the gas that will be used just to get there and back! Should be fun! Until next time, tight lines and screaming drags!
